The inspector evaluates the roof, exterior,
foundation, lots and grounds. There is
a visual inspection of the attic (framing,
electrical, insulation levels), checks all
visible outlets, function of windows and
doors, operation of faucets, showers,
toilets, plumbing and drain lines, household
appliances, visual inspection of the electrical
panel,

Each inspection lasts approximately 3-5 hours
depending on the size of the home.
Upon completion of the inspection, a personal
walk through with the buyer is performed. A
full written report with photos is provided.

Nebraska and Iowa have a high prevalence of radon in homes. The EPA and State of Nebraska and State of Iowa recommend testing a home for radon to determine if mitigation is necessary. EPA recommends a mitigation system when the action level is 4 pCi/L and above.

We use Radstar 310A continuous radon monitors. All machines are blue tooth which allows us to send the results to you straight from the property.
All machines are calibrated on a yearly basis. We also to random duplicate testing to ensure the machines are working within the standards required.
